Our Story

The mind and heart behind Sukoon Label is Renu Yadav, Founder & Designer.

Renu’s journey into textiles began with a deep technical foundation, earning a Diploma in fashion technology from the Women’s Polytechnic College, Bhopal (affiliated with RGPV). Driven by a passion for texture, she went on to specializes in Knitwear Design at the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Mumbai.

While at NIFT, she completed a prestigious Graduation Project at Shoppers Stop Corporate Headquarters in Malad, Mumbai, learning the ins and outs of large-scale retail. Later, she stepped onto bustling sets as a Costume Designer for ad shoots, mastering the art of visual storytelling. Yet, it was during her time working a 9-to-5 graphic design job for a US – based company that the ultimate spark for Sukoon was lit.

Spending long hours in front of screens made her realize how much our everyday environments demand comfort. She wanted to create a wardrobe that felt like an escape—an antidote to the rigid corporate hustle.

We partner directly with skilled local artisans, bringing the intricate, timeless craft of hand-crochet into modern, wearable silhouettes. Every piece tells a story of human touch, patience, and dedication.
